The  office of  Shannon Taylor Scarlett, Architects is a small, woman owned firm with both residential, and public building experience in the Boston area, though recently the firm has been focused primarily on residential projects. The firm has executed both new buildings and renovations, and has provided various consulting services to other local architectural and engineering firms.

Established in 1990, Scarlett Architects continues to build a reputation as a firm that is highly motivated by design excellence, while at the same time maintaining technical proficiency and considering the sustainability issues and economic realities of each project.  In recognition of their strong commitment to design quality, the firm has received several awards in national design competitions.

Space needs and budgetary constraints, environmental factors, schedule and consultant coordination are all reviewed and managed as fundamental aspects of any successful project. In providing a total design service, the firm offers clients a range of options expanding on traditional architectural practice. Scarlett Architects regularly engages in feasibility studies, master planning, space needs assessment, landscape and interior design as supportive and often integral aspects of a project.
